Yes, if the minimum wage was ridiculously high it would cause massive unemployment.
No one is arguing for this.
Also, the idea that removing the minimum wage will cause drug dealers and prostitutes to work at McDonalds is ridiculous. Minimum wage isn’t causing that, poor living conditions cause that.
